Mindful MKUU

This health and wellness program takes a wholistic approach to build up confidence and promote mental and physical well-being among girls ages 9-17. This is a four-part class focusing on: relaxation through movement and mindfulness, nutrition (including health issues specific to women), cyber and self defense, and life safety training. MKUU is You

Our signature 10-week program equips girls, ages 9-17 in underserved areas, with the skills necessary to be leaders in their lives and amongst their peers. The weekly sessions are comprised of discussions, individual and team exercises, a group service project, and reflections on topics such as: self-esteem, public speaking, financial literacy, personal branding, safety and awareness, college readiness, interviewing skills, philanthropy and more.

MKUU Next Level

This leadership apprentice program provides support by focusing on individual aspirations and leadership training. We provide one-on-one guidance and mentoring. Participants are trained as leadership advisors to girls in other programs of MKUU. Open to graduates of the MKUU is You program (or former Thrive Community Services programs) only. Coming soon…

 

MKUU is You YouTube Channel

MKUU’s podcast is an inspiring space for girls to inform and celebrate the cultural, social, artistic, athletic (and more) interests of young females.
